You may be familiar with the “table-read” in which, before stage rehearsals begin, actors sit around a table reading parts from a script or screenplay, infusing the characters with life.
The CALL Readers Theatre group meets two times a month to read short plays, monologues or poetry chosen by our members. There is no memorization or movement (i.e., on a stage)
We use our voices to give meaning to the text. This happens in a non-threatening and collaborative environment. We look for opportunities to perform for an audience 1-2 times a year.
All you need to bring is your voice and a laptop or tablet. We have fun!
