Finding Peace and Joy Within

 Many ancient traditions teach there is a source of peace and joy within, that is independent of circumstances (e.g., COVID-19 pandemic). The easiest way to connect to this inner source is through meditation and its sister practice, mindfulness.  Over 50 years of scientific research have clearly demonstrated there are significant social and health benefits to these practices.

In this newest eight week session we will explore the ideas behind these ancient practices, and the modern understandings about how and why they work on both your inner and outer world.  Each session will include a period of meditation (sitting comfortably in chairs) to allow participants the opportunity to experience the benefits for themselves. 

The objective of this program is not understanding or belief, but rather direct experience.  The experience will be a familiar one – rediscovering what you did not know you had lost. These benefits are especially applicable in these times of COVID 19.

All are welcome. Drop Ins are welcome.

Barry Ronellenfitch, P.Eng. is a Professional Engineer with over 45 years’ experience with Yogic practices, and over 1,000 hours of formal training on meditation. During that time he raised a family, owned and ran a manufacturing business, and worked to maintain a sense of peace, balance and joy while surfing the wave of chaos that we all experience in our daily lives.
