Connecting With Our Roots: How Family Stories Shape Lives

The intention of the event is to honour intergenerational connections by learning to capture and preserve memories. We hope to create a space that allows participants to creatively express themselves, learn from other generations, discover ways to share stories, and recognize the beauty of leaving a meaningful legacy.

Our guest speaker is Tara Shymanski. Tara is active in the genealogy world in Calgary. She is the Education Director for the Alberta Family Histories society, a family history consultant for the Family History Centre and an Ontario Special Interest Group Coordinator for the Alberta Family Histories Society.
