Hong Kong Mah Jong
Styles of Mah Jong (such as Hong Kong, Asian, American, Japanese etc.) differ in rules for game scoring. Hong Kong Mah Jong is easy to learn and is popular with Cantonese speakers and those who have lived in Hong Kong. It’s a game for all ages and often played on cruise ships.
CALL would like to bring this game to new and experienced players for fun and enjoyment.
It is expected participants show up on a regular basis; but, if unable to attend, please notify the facilitator of absence ahead of time. If you have a mah jong set, we encourage you to bring it; but, it is not required. There is a one time fee of $10.00 to all participants. Once the group is established, any new players joining, must have a basic knowledge of the game. New beginners will be accepted again in September.
