Climate Change Alberta  **Accepting New Members**

You've heard the term "climate change" many times over the past 10 - 20 years. Here's an opportunity to understand the science behind climate change and what it may mean in an Alberta context. This is a unique opportunity to learn from one of Alberta's experts, Dr. David Manz, who has taught the subject at the U of Calgary for many years.

Each of the biweekly sessions will start with David’s brief presentation on the topic followed by questions, expressions of interest, and discussion.
A major resource, but not the only one, will be David’s website: https://manzwaterinfo.ca/climate-change. While the topics will include the science of climate change, its impacts (being experienced and forecast), adaptation, resilience, mitigation, and reliable sources of information, group members’ interests will inform the selection of other topics.

Climate Change Alberta will meet in person for two hours every two weeks. At the first meeting (Friday, November 3rd), the group will establish a detailed timetable.
