Tuesday Walks

in the City of Calgary

CALL is now offering this weekly walking Interest Group while following COVID-19 relaunch protocols with some additional measures for this activity.

Please read the Protocols below ***

Theme: Enjoy a variety of walks while engaging in conversation with fellow CALL members, discovering new pathways and observing the flora and fauna within our city.

How: A limit of 8 people including the co-facilitator will be preregistered for each walk. To accommodate more CALL members and to provide a variety of levels of walking, three co-facilitators, Dave Arnold, Charlie Moore and Peter Usher will lead 2-3 walks each week.

Once you have registered for this new Interest Group, you will receive the weekly offerings from which to choose and to preregister.  Offerings will be emailed to registered Interest Group members on Thursdays. The preregistration will close on Sundays after which time the co-facilitator will confirm your place by sending the meeting place details for the walk. Registration will be on a first come first serve basis. Once a walk is “full” the co-facilitator will keep a wait list or you may chose from another unfilled walk.

Start: August 11, 2020

When: Tuesday mornings

Time: 9.30 am -please arrive 15 min. prior

Duration: 2-2.5h
