Open Studio
**Accepting New Members**
The Open Studio interest group encourages explorations of creativity through visual art. The group has explored classical drawing and painting methods as well as practices such as zentangle, drawing on fabric, eco-printing, handmade books, collage, and outdoor sketching. We select our learning interests as a group. From time-to-time members share interests and expertise through mini-tutorials. We meet in person bimonthly as well as separately on Zoom for those unable to participate in person. Some prior experience in drawing or design is helpful but not essential.
Facilitator(s): Barbara Amos is an interdisciplinary artist whose projects focus on a community and an issue.
Sherryl Jeffries has a background in mindfulness, meditation and clinical psychology. |
