Open Studio
**Accepting New Members**
Open Studio encourages independent study of creative projects. We meet on zoom over the fall & winter so that we can work from home studio spaces, where the materials for our creative practises are in reach. We have in-person outings and outdoor events when there are common interests. In the past we have explored creativity through the classical drawing methods and through modern approaches such as the zentangle method. We select our learning interests as a group. Members offer mini tutorials and share leadership when appropriate. Some prior experience in drawing or design is helpful. but not necessary.
Facilitator(s): Barbara Amos is an artist whose commissions have addressed environmental and social justice issues which are located in varied public places in Canada and the USA.
Sherryl Jeffries has a background in mindfulness, meditation and clinical psychology. |
