A Glimpse of a cruise to observe the Northern Lights off the coast of Norway

In March 2019, our intention was to observe Northern Lights while on a cruise visiting various scenic ports in Norway.  This twelve day trip featured fabulous scenery albeit wintery in appearance with wonderful excursions.    Up to and including day ten, it  was picture perfect and then mother nature intervened turning our vacation into an adventure with unexpected highlights.   We will describe a cruise that went from perfect to awry.  It will speak to how people came together to support one another and provide some ideas to future cruisers.
