Julius Caesar

I've been sceptical about  JC ever since Mankiewicz cast Marlon Brando as Mark Antony and he received high critical praise for not mumbling.  After seeing the film, I wished that I had taken Calpurnia's advice to JC and gone...home, much happier.

Now is the time to overcome and put aside my likely unjustified prejudice against this play.  So, I am inviting you to come and help me get my knives out of Julius Caesar's back.

PS It occurs to me that we have would-be Caesars in several nations.  Who will take up Brutus' knife to save Rome in 2020? or Kashmir? or the rain forest? or the world economy?
