Great Directors Fall

Great Directors: Contemporary Middle-Eastern Cinema

The objective is for members to increase their understanding and appreciation of the collaborative art of filmmaking in general, and in particular, to expand their knowledge and appreciation of international filmmakers. Individual members of the group may assume responsibility for leading the discussion of each film, and members will share their responses and insights into various aspects of the films, such as screenplay, direction, acting, production design, cinematography, themes and symbols, editing, and sound.

Note: There will be a second (repeat) session of this group in Spring 2020.
