MEDIEVAL HISTORY - WHAT A WOMAN! (Full with Waitlist)
These sessions will examine the lives of four influential women, each of whom was the mother of a king of England. Taking a life and times approach, the women to be discussed are – Empress Matilda [1102-1167], Eleanor of Aquitaine [1122-1204], Catherine of Valois [1401-1437] , and Margaret Beaufort [1443-1509]. Please note, that while based on research and current knowledge, this interest group does not take itself too seriously.
