Balkan Adventures

For seven weeks, beginning in late September 2018, I traveled by foot, bicycle and bus through the Balkan countries of Croatia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Albania and Greece.  My presentation on January 8th will include pictures and stories of trekking in the Balkan Borderlands, cycling in Albania and trekking on the island of Corfu (Greece).

Richard is a native born Calgarian. He lives in Calgary with his wife of 53 years. His two daughters, son in law and three grand children live near by. He is a retired school teacher with 34 years of teaching in Calgary, Sierra Leone and Tanzania.  Since his retirement 23 years ago he has travelled to over sixty countries. Most of his travelling experiences involve trekking or cycling.  He is a CALL member and has previously made several presentations to Treks and Travels

Free for members, $5 charge at the door for non-members. Guests are welcome. No registration required.
