Exploring Philosophy of Religion 

We will seek to understand and discuss some central issues in the philosophy of religion. Topics will include the distinction and relation between spirituality and religion; conceptions of God; central arguments for theism and atheism; feminist and other approaches to theology; the problem of evil; and conceptions of soul and immortality. We will also consider different views about the relation between science and religion. Notes will be provided as a basis for discussion.
