Poetry Workshops Group 1
The focus of this workshop will be to encourage and support those who would like to use poetry to express, clarify and distil experience. We will meet bi-weekly to read our writing and give feedback in a supportive environment, encouraging and sharing ideas for improvement. Seed ideas will be provided to stimulate ideas and create focus, but members will be free to write on any subject they choose. We will begin with an agreement of complete confidentiality to give us the security to express ourselves freely. No experience necessary.
The emphasis will be on self-expression but opportunities for publication will be explored for anyone interested. Handouts on varied aspects of writing poetry will be provided as needed.
