Nagaland? Where is Nagaland?

Nagaland is a very small and little known state in the north-eastern section of India right beside the  Myanmar border. This mountainous region is totally unlike any other part of India, as it was settled in the 13th century by Sino-Tibetan-Burmese tribes .Throughout the centuries, these fiercely independent tribes of head hunters have warred with each other, the British, the Japanese, and, until lately, India. It is only recently that travellers have been allowed to visit Nagaland. This talk will highlight the Hornbill Festival, held each  December to celebrate  the dances and music and arts  of the tribes as well as the tribal culture and life in remote villages by the Myanmar border.
