We all love to move and movement becomes very important as we get older this dance class is based on rhythm and movement that all participants will be able to follow no matter your previous experience. We will incorporate simple movement with a variety of music choices that will challenge your brain and body in a gentle way.
This class will start with seated exercises to warm up the whole body, then move into standing work with or without the chair, or staying seated as participants need. We will utilize rhythmic sequences in combinations which stimulate balance, coordination, range of motion, fine and complex motor skills as well as activating the memory, musical, and reward centres of the brain.
