Come join us and play the uke in this introductory Interest Group. It kicks off with a great movie night about the uke, “Mighty Uke, the Amazing Comeback of a Musical Underdog”.
Three workshop sessions follow, with a limited number of ukes available to borrow during the workshops. If you have your own, at home, gathering dust…Bring It! This is a great opportunity to see how much you like it!
No musical experience is required. It’s fun, easy and a great social activity. Be amazed when within minutes you can play and sing a song!
After this intro, you’ll know what you want to do with your uke: take lessons from one of the many fine teachers in the city, find people to play with on a regular basis, or sell your uke on the Internet.
This is free for CALL members, and $45 for non members.
