Since
Paul retired from The City of Calgary in 2017, He has been working with
Engineers Canada on a project with the Nile Basin Initiative. This
project allowed him to travel to Uganda. On his first trip to Uganda He
was able to book a side trip to visit the mountain gorillas in the
Virunga National Park located on the SW corner of Uganda on the border
with Rwanda and Democratic Republic of Congo. Paul's presentation will
talk about his experience in getting there, trekking to see the gorillas
and the Burundi area in general. He will also cover why visiting the
gorillas is the best way to save them.
