Spring and Chinese Medicine: A Pivotal Turning Point. How to Keep Yourself Healthy this spring with Teachings from the Ancients

Does the spring signal a time when you struggle with headaches? Do you find yourself irritable, angry, or even depressed? Or perhaps you are prone to getting the dreaded spring cold. Come and learn what you can do in your life to make a difference and stop the headaches, frustrations, and colds this spring.

The spring is a great time for spring cleaning around the house, but just as we can clean out the dust bunnies in the corners of our houses, so too can we do some house cleaning in our own bodies. There are tools and tips that can be used this spring to help you feel your best and help to prime your body for the coming of summer. Consuming plenty of dark leafy greens can be an excellent way to give your liver a boost this spring. Getting outside and enjoying nature, feeling the grass between your toes, is a great way to feel grounded and in your body. And allowing yourself to revel in your creativity is another go-to this spring. If you’d like to hear more about what the spring can mean for your health and wellness and how to navigate the various health challenges that can arise in the spring, then join Dr. Kim Dunlop February 26th at the Calgary Association for Lifelong Learners for a presentation on Tips to Stay Healthy this Spring with Teachings from the Ancients.
