Frontier Calgary, 1875-1914   **FULL with Waitlist**

This new Interest Group provides a unique opportunity to gain insights into Calgary's history - often exploring under reported aspects - and to understand how historians work. Eminent Canadian historian, Don Smith, will help guide us through the exciting origins of Calgary in a thematic approach, including Indigenous Calgary, the role of religion, and the arts. Each session will have a topic-area expert to offer insights. Group members will be asked to volunteer to provide mini-presentations. Dr. Smith will outline a small number of written/podcast resources for each session.
