Treks and Travels is held on the 3rd Wednesday of every month beginning in September and ending in June with the exception of December and always begins at 7:30 PM.

A Trek to Everest Base Camp The Everest region is one of the most popular and breathtaking hiking destinations in the world. And when Peter saw an Everest Base Camp review in National Geographic Traveller, he knew the trek was for him. The journey is approximately 65 km and takes up to seven days, one way, for those who are in good physical shape. COMING IN MAY
Exploring the South Atlantic and Antarctica
The wildlife, history and topography of Antarctica, South Georgia and the Falkland Islands will be highlighted from a journey between southern Argentina and Antarctica. There will be considerable numbers of penguins, other birds and sea mammals in the presentation, along with a discussion of a portion of Shackleton’s voyage.
Fred Swaine is an avid adventurous traveller who enjoys exploring various areas of our planet along with different cultures.
