Trudy Cowan is an historian, author and storyteller who has worked and volunteered in the heritage and museum field for many years.
She is a former Alberta governor and chair of the Heritage Canada Foundation and a founder of the Jewish Historical Society of Southern Alberta.
Her honorary doctorate from the U of C recognized her many heritage contributions, including the transformation of Fort Calgary and the restoration of Lougheed House.
The latest of her many published books, articles and children’s stories, is the historical novel for young readers, Quarantine. Keep Out!
