☘️March CALL Café: An Irish Tale for St. Paddy’s Day☘️

March 9, 2020

Brian Brennan is a veteran Calgary journalist, writer and proud Irish-Canadian.

His Cork ancestors were famine survivors. Many lost their farms and homes, but escaped the hunger and avoided the workhouses by emigrating to North America.

Brian will present his new, best-selling novel, The Love of One’s Country. It tells the tale of a twentieth-century Irish immigrant who investigates the mysterious disappearance of his ancestor who came to Canada during the Irish famine of the 1800s.
