Stories of Alberta Rock Bands in the 60’s & 70’s

Garage Band Rockers began as an interest, translated into a story in a bar and culminated in a digital, multi-media book that endeavours to capture the incredible legacy local musicians and their bands left for the music cultural heritage of Alberta.

As a participant in this multi-media, interactive presentation, you can expect to:

  • Hear stories from the histories of some of the rock bands in Alberta in the 60’s and 70’s decades.
  • See photos of some of these bands and hear a little of their music.
  • Identify some fundamentals to possess or put in place to write a book.
  • Receive innocuous and vague answers to your burning questions from a fledgling author.
